CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Lynx women's volleyball team visited Pine Manor College with the hopes of getting their first victory over 2008 season but fell to the Gators 3-0 (25-11, 25-23, 25-14). 

Lesley's best opportunity to gain a set on Pine Manor came in the second set with the Lynx up 23-22.  The Gator were able to tie up the score at 23-23 and then take the lead on a Lynx reception error off the serve. 

Pine Manor was paced by Rachel Mastine (Syracuse, N.Y.) who had seven kills and six digs, and Andrea Lavigne (Haverhill, Mass.) who added six kills and eight digs for the Gators.

Kaitlyn Wechsler (Merrick, N.Y.) tallied six kills and four solo blocks for the Lynx defeat.  Kayla Henry (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) was productive for Lesley as the freshman finished with four kills and four digs.

The Lynx will be in action again on Saturday at Mount Ida College starting at 1:00 pm.  Pine Manor will be playing in a tri-match against Rivier College and Saint Joseph's College (Me.).
