THE LEAD –  The Lynx met the Clark University on the Corash Tennis Courts, Tuesday afternoon, walking away with a 6-3 setback.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In number one doubles, Jessica Legendre and Mary Osucha pulled a convincing win over Clark's Maeve McEnroe and Merielle Kane, winning 8-4.
  • Brooke Whitten and Lucy Boyce put up a fight in second doubles, losing 8-5 to Olivia Shipley and Crisi Patel.
  • Juniors Emma Allen and Amy Marrin shut out Arden Farnsworth-Moore and Ariane Ramos in number three doubles, with an 8-0 win.
  • Patel registered a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Farnsworth in number five singles to help extend Clark's lead to 3-1.
  • In number six singles, Allen recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win over Ramos to give Clark a 4-1 edge.
  • Shipley secured the win for Clark, coming away with a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Boyce in number four play.
  • Kane battled with Whitten in number three singles and dropped the first set 6-3, but battled back to win the next two sets 7-5, 10-8.
  • Legendre took care of business for the Lynx with 6-1, 6-1 scores. 
  • Osucha contributed the last point for Lesley with 6-0, 6-1 sets.

  • Legendre and Osucha continue their undefeated streak in the #1 Doubles position.
