GAME OVERVIEW:

MILTON, MA.-- The Lesley Women's Tennis team lost their spring match to the Curry College Colonels 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • Curry swept all three doubles matches, led by Sasha Borkov and Serena Wilson taking down Brooke Whitten and Morgan Anderson 8-1. Samantha Ferrera and Grace Coopee won the second doubles match against Annie Dai and Joselyn Martinez in a close 8-6 match, while the final match was taken by Lily Turner-Burrell and Cayla Osowski oevr Hillary Berry and Brenna Peterson 8-1. 
  • Curry won all six singles matches as well. Borkov earned a win over Whitten in singles #1 by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, while Sophia Wiernuz defeated Anderson 6-2 and 6-3. Wilson took the victory in singles #3 over Joselyn Martinez 6-0 and 6-3.
  • Ferrera defeated Dai in singles #4 6-3 and 6-1, while Coopee beat Berry 6-1 and 6-0. The final singles match of the day was won by Nicole Moreira over Brenna Peterson by scores of 6-3 and 6-0.
