GAME OVERVIEW:

Weston, Mass—The Lesley Women's Tennis squad dropped their second match in as many days at Regis College Saturday afternoon, 9-0. 

THE BASICS:

INSIDE THE SCORESHEET:

  • Regis swept the singles portion with all matches only going two sets.  Jessica Russo and Sara Stanton played the most competitive sets for the Lynx with Russo falling 6-3 to Katasha Jarvis and Stanton falling 6-4 to Lauren Mogelnicki.  
  • The Pride continued their sweep in the doubles competition to earn the shut out.  
  • Co-Captains Russo and Theresa Pereira teamed up in the No. 1 doubles slot falling to Ariana McCormack and Jarvis 8-4, for the closet match for the Lynx.
  • Maddie Abbott and Stanton fell to Carly Donovan and Gracie Jarest in the No. 2 position 8-1, while Mary Pulling and Annie Dai dropped a 8-2 decision in the No. 3.
