WESTON, MA -- Lesley's Emily Scolaro was victorious in her third singles debut but was the only Lynx player to earn a win in Lesley's 8-1 loss at Regis Thursday night.

The sophomore defeated Erika Palmer, 8-6, improving to 4-2 in her first season with the Lynx. After taking her third singles debut Thursday, Scolaro now has wins in third, fourth and fifth singles to start her Lesley career.

Unfortunately for Marty Morrissey's Lynx, the Pride avanged an earlier 5-4 loss in Cambridge in a big way, winning every point except Scolaro's third singles. Lesley's Nicole Smith and Christina Constatnine forced a 6-6 tie in first singles play, but Regis' Mary Jane Barron and Elora Granados rallied for an 8-6 win.

At 4-3 overall and 4-2 in NECC play, Lesley travels to Mitchell College (0-4 NECC) on Saturday at noon.
