LONGMEADOW, MA -- Lesley had its three-match winning streak snapped in the Lynx 8-1 loss at Bay Path College Wednesday afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference women's tennis play.

Senior Michelle Side captured the only point for the Lynx, winning in first singles play, 5-7, 6-4, 10-5, over Wildcats senior Sarah Costa.

The loss is Lesley's first in its last four matches and first in NECC play, dropping the Lynx to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in league play. Lesley falls to third place in the NECC standings, while Bay Path (5-2 overall) is now tied for first with Becker College at 2-0 in conference play.

Lesley returns to action on Saturday at Becker at 1 p.m.
