THE LEAD –  The Lynx hosted the North Atlantic Conference Quarterfinals this afternoon. Lesley #1 played UMaine Farmington #4, followed by a matchup between Husson #2 and Maine Maritime #3.

GAME 1 HOW IT HAPPENED – LESLEY VS UMAINE FARMINGTON

• Sage Henry recorded a goal for the Lynx just four minutes into the match off a cross pass from Tatiana Ledesma.
• Just five minutes later Henry was fouled in the box and Lesley was awarded a penalty kick. Keira Bergman took the PK for the Lynx giving them a 2-0 lead early in the match.
• At the 23^rd minute mark Haile Carillo Hayes took the ball down to the corner, sent a pass up to Sacha Porter who immediately found Henry in front of the net to notch their third goal of the game.
• Abby Kalou recorded an assist off a rebounded shot from Henry, rounding out the 4-0 win to solidify the Lynx' semifinal appearance.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Henry recorded two goals and an assist on the match.
• Lolo Lacy recorded two saves in the net to record another shutout on the season.
• Paige Gonya made eight saves in the net for the Beavers.
• Lesley led the match 20-5 in shots, and 9-1 in corner kicks.

GAME 2 HOW IT HAPPENED- HUSSON VS MAINE MARITIME

• The entirety of the first half went by scoreless as both teams battled back and forth for possession. Husson firing off six shots to Maine Maritimes four.
• Maritime took a 1-0 lead in the 49^th minute of the match when Delaney Ennis scored off a cross pass from Kirra Magana.
• Just ten minutes later the Mariners put another goal on the board after Taylor Webster sent a ball right through the middle for Sophia Hernandez to fire in.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Maine led the match 12-11 on shots, and 2-1 on corner kicks.
• Isa Thesing made three saves in net to clinch the win for the Mariners.
• Madison Weigler made four saves for Husson.
