RYDER EARNS NSCAA ALL-NEW ENGLAND HONORS

(CAMBRIDGE, Mass.) – Senior Kate Ryder (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-New England First Team.

Ryder helped lead the Lynx to a 16-3-2 record, including an undefeated conference season (9-0) in which Lesley claimed the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) crown and the programs first appearance in the NCAA Division III women's soccer championship tournament.

"Kate has been one of the most complete players we have ever had play here, we are excited that the rest of the coaches in the region recognized her tremendous ability and career here at Lesley," said head coach Paul Vasconcelos.

Ryder finished the season with six goals and three assists earning her NECC All-Conference First Team honors. She leaves Lesley with 23 career goals and 16 total assists in 80 games played.
