CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Jodi Fralick (Woburn, Mass.) and Lani Cabral-Pini (Wilmington, Mass.) became the first pair of teammates in Lesley's women's soccer program's history to be named to the NAC All-Conference Team. Fralick was named to the NAC's 1st Team All-Conference and Cabral-Pini was named to the NAC's 2nd Team All-Conference.
In 12 conference games Fralick led the team in points with 20,
scoring 9 goals with 2 assists. Fralick was the center of the
Lynx offense as she had more shots on goal than the rest of the
team combined.
Cabral-Pini was second on the team in points with 8 in 12
conference games, netting 3 goals and having 2 assists.
Despite battling injuries all year Cabral-Pini was the key to
Lesley's transition game. The feisty midfielder used her
tenacity and lighting speed to get the ball up to the attack and
was the spark plug for much of the Lynx's offensive success.
With Fralick a freshman and Cabral-Pini a sophomore it is safe to say that the Lady Lynx have a very bright future ahead of them. For more information on either Fralick, Cabral-Pini or the women's soccer program please go to their website.
