Looking to play a collegiate sport? Try women's crew!

If you are looking to get involved in either the fall or spring semester and want to do something athletic, why not try women's crew?  The team is looking for new athletes (no experience necessary) to compete for the Lynx.

The current members of the crew team say that one of the best things about competing on the crew team is the sense of reward and satisfaction they experience.  Practices are often difficult and challenging, but rowers find that there is nothing better than racing as part of a team.

This season, the Lynx are in need of coxswains.  Coxswains are generally the smallest members of the team and there is no prerequisite to be extremely athletic or experienced.  Much of the experience can be learned on the job with the women's crew coaching staff.

Head Coach Kate McGravey is asking that if anyone is interesting in joining the women's crew team for the fall, they should contact her on or before Monday, September 15.  If you are more inclined to get involved for the spring season, then please contact Coach McGravey when second semester begins.

You can reach Coach McGravey at crew@lesley.edu or at 617.868.9600 x2317.
