Cambridge, Mass- Lesley Women's Basketball junior forward Dakota Jones has been named to the NECC All-Conference second team. Jones is the only Lynx to pick up an All-Conference honor.
#24 DAKOTA JONES
- Jones ended the regular season as the NECC scoring champion (19.5 PPG) and rebounding champion (14.3 PPG), while also finishing second in conference field goal percentage (52.2%). She finished the season with 469 points and 339 rebounds, the most of any NECC player.
- The junior registered an incredible 20 double-doubles in her 24 appearances over the season. During a home game againest Eastern Nazerene College (Feb. 9), Jones hit the 1,000 point mark as part of the Lesley program.
- Jones saved her best performance for the season finale against Bay Path (Feb. 17), her 25 points and season high 22 rebounds was enough for a win over the Wildcats.
- Jones was named to the NECC All-Conference Third team the year prior.
