Norton, MA- The Lyons of Wheaton College defeated the Lynx in a two game set Tuesday afternoon by final scores of 19-0 and 10-0. The losses push Lesley to 3-27 on the year.

Inside Game 1: 

• The Lyons came out the gate swinging, putting up 8 in the first and 7 in the second. 
• 4 more runs would come across on the home halves of the third and fourth to push the game to 19-0. 
• Antonia Kieran would record to lone hit of the game for the Lynx in the first, with a single to the right fielder. 

Inside Game 2:

• Wheaton continued the offensive attack in game 2, scoring in each of the four innings. 
• The Lynx were held to 2 hits in game 2, those coming off the bats of Kieran and Holly Swinamer. 
• Sophia Santos would pitch a complete game from the circle despite taking the loss. 

Lynx Highlights:

• Grad Senior Antonia Kieran went 2-4 on the day.
• Holly Swinamer recorded a 1-4 day at the plate. 
• Mia Santilli and Jess O'Neill both reached base in 1 of their 4 plate appearances. 
• Despite the loss, this was the fourth complete game of the season for the freshman Sophia Santos.

Lesley (3-27, 0-6) will look to rebound on the road Thursday in a conference matchup against New England College. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 3pm.
