Cambridge, Mass. - Lesley University softball swept the NECC Weekly honors, as announced by the conference office Monday. Jordan Day (Seminole, FL.) was named Player of the Week, while Jen Thorburn (Groton, MA.) was named Pitcher of the Week, and Mahlia Medina (Winchester, CA.) was named Rookie of the Week.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• Day batted .667 with on OBP (on base pertcentage) of .714; Day drove in 10 runs on 14 hits, and three of those hits were homeruns. From the circle, Day picked up three wins while collecting 20 strikeouts in 16.1 innings pitched.
• Thorburn came up 3-0 from the circle with two complete games. During that span, Thorburn held opposing batters to a .313 average, while also grabbing nine strikeouts.  
• Medina, did damage from the plate with a .364 batting average with eight hits and homer. Medina also accounted for eight runs while also nabbing six RBIs.
• All of these contributions helped the Lynx go a 6-0 during the past week.
