Durben wins ROTW from NAC

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Alyson Durben led the highest scoring offense in the North Atlantic Conference this past week to a 8-0 record including six wins against NAC opponents and for her efforts she earned Rookie of the Week honors from the conference.

Durben batted .433 on the week with 11 runs scored and 12 runs batted in.  She had four doubles, a triple and three stolen bases in the eight games she played.

Her best performances came in a doubleheader with UMass Boston where in game one, the freshman went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.  She followed up that performance in game two going 3-for-5 with three more runs batted in. 

Durben currently leads the Lynx in several offensive categories on the season.  She has four home runs, 12 doubles, four triples, and 34 runs batted in to lead the team.  The outfielder also leads Lesley with a .802 slugging percentage. 

Lesley won all eight games they played this week including six conference wins against Elms College, Johnson State College and Castleton State College.

The Lynx will be back in action this Thursday against Becker College starting at 3:30 p.m.  Thursday will also be Senior Night and the last home game for the Lynx.
