CAMBRIDGE, MA – Lani Carbral-Pini (Wilmington, MA) became the second Lesley player in this very young season to win the North Atlantic Conference’s Rookie of the Week award. Liz Bergeron (Milford, ME) from the University of Maine at Farmington was the other co-recipient of the award.

Cabral-Pini is the leadoff hitter for the Lynx and the sparkplug for their offense and she certainly did her job. Over the course of her award winning week Cabral-Pini got on base at a remarkable 54.5% and scored five runs for the Lynx. Cabral-Pini also drove in a run and stole two bases.

With her help Lesley went 2-1 last week with a historic win over Becker College and a split with Mount Ida College.
