NEWTON, MA -- Lesley tied the match at 1-1 in the second, but Mount Ida won the following two sets in the Mustangs 3-1 win Wednesday night in non-conference men's volleyball play. 

Junior Max Hoevenaar led the Lynx with seven kills and 13 digs, and Melvin Morales led the team with nine set assists. 

Hoevenaar tied for match-high honors with two blocks, and freshman Briak Hicks added six digs, but the Mustangs Nich Schilbi totaled 13 digs to lead the Mount Ida defense. 

For the Mustangs, Spencer Arnoux led all players with 16 kills, and Spencer Hastings added 13 kills. 

The Lynx now travel to Southern Vermont on Saturday for a 2:00 match in New England Collegiate Conference play.
