Men's Tennis Edged By Albertus Magnus, 8-1

New Haven, CT. - The Lesley men's tennis team fell on the road against Albertus Magnus College, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Celentano Courts on the campus of Albertus Magnus. Singles matches were played at Tennis Central in Woodbridge, CT. due to poor weather conditions. As a result, singles matches were scored in a 10 pro sets match, first to 10 sets.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS:

Patrick Corcoran (West Hartford, CT) earned the Lynx the lone point with a win at No. 5 singles (10-2).

The Falcons started the contest with a sweep of doubles play, in the respective order of, No. 1 (8-0), No. 2 (8-4), and a close match at No. 3 (81-70) from Corcoran/ Evan Zona (Hingham, MA.).

Meanwhile, in singles play, Albertus Magnus secured victory after wins at No. 2 (10-6) and No 1. (10-2) in the respective order. The Falcons finished the remaining matches on top, other than No. 5 singles, at No. 3 singles (10-1), No. 4 singles (10-4), and No. 6 singles (10-2), in that order.
