GAME OVERVIEW:

Boston, MA: Lesley edged out the home team Wheelock College 5-4 on Saturday, April 21. Lesley performed best in singles action as they won four of the six matches compared to just one of the three doubles contests.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Wildcats took two or three doubles matches to take an early lead heading into the singles portion. 
• Wildcat's Arvin Hedayaty and Amus Jackson defeated Lynx duo of William Sgro and Evan Flaherty 8-3, followed by Jordan Bernard and Jack Krieger claiming the second doubles match 8-2 over Peter Weiss and Colin Holter.
• Lesley tandem Evan Zona and Evan McDermond claimed the final doubles match of the day, defeating Abbey Smith and Brody Niemann 8-2.
• The Wildcats took the opening singles matches 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1,6-2 with Hedaytay and Bernard earning the wins.
• The Lynx followed with 4 straight singles victories to earn the overall win. 
• William Sgro claimed Lesley's first singles victory as he overcame the Wildcats Amos Jackson in straight sets; 6-0, 6-3.
• Both Evan Flaherty and Patrick Corcoran were almost flawless defeating their opponents 6-1, and 6-0.
• In the last singles match of the day, Lesley's Evan Zona won the opening set against Jack Krieger after a tie-break, 7-6 (7-4) before claiming the second 6-3.
