Cambridge, Mass-  The Lesley men's tennis coach Shawna Sarson announced the 2018 men's tennis captains for the 2018 slate.  Senior Niko Marcolini and sophomore Beowulf Urban have both demonstrated the commitment and leadership necessary over the past two years to lead the program to new heights. 

 

"I'm excited to announce Niko and Beowulf as captains," said head coach Shawna Sarson.  "Within the last two years, we've acquired new athletes who will support taking our team to the next level.  Under their leadership I am confident we are one step closer that to that goal," she added.

 

A two year captain in Marcolini, he has the opportunity to make his mark on the Lesley University Men's Tennis Team while allowing a young Urban to grow into his role as a leader.  "Both Niko and Beowulf are extremely hard-working athletes and will help push the team to do their best work," Sarson concluded.
