The Lynx were picked to finish third in the preseason NECC Tennis Poll released this afternoon by NECC Assistant Commissioner for Communications, Robb Modica. Lesley, who fell in the 2012 NECC Semifinals to Regis College, will return five players from last year's squad including seniors Nick Mattox (Pasadena, Md.), Jimmy Paulsen (Monroe, Conn.), and Alex Zhitnik (West Hartford, Conn.).

Regis College is slated to finish atop the NECC men's tennis standings following the vote of the conference coaches. The Pride, who finished with 34 points and four first place votes, returns its top three singles players from a year ago including the 2012 NECC Player and Rookie of the Year Mike Beluch.
