WESTON, MA -- Mike Kaufman helped earn each of Lesley's two points on Thursday, teaming with fellow sophomore Paolo DiPietrantonio in the Lynx 7-2 loss at Regis College in New England Collegiate Conference men's tennis play.
Kaufman improved to 2-0 in sixth singles play with a quick 6-1, 6-2 victory over the Pride's Jonathon Dost. He paired with DiPietrantonio for the first time this year, marking the fifth different doubles partner for DiPietrantonio in nine matches, for an 8-5 win over Jeffrie Parish and Sophorn Nop.
In No. 1 singles, Regis' Michael Beluch bested Lesley's Nick Mattox, 6-0, 6-0.
With the win, the Pride improves to 11-6 overall and 8-1 in NECC play.
After three matches in three nights and at 4-6 on the season (4-5 NECC), Lesley returns to the courts on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Newbury.
