CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley University got back to .500 at 4-4 overall and improved to 4-3 in New England Collegiate Conference play with a 9-0 win over Wheelock College (1-7, 0-6) Tuesday night in league men's tennis play.
Nick Mattox (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) knocked off Miles Carey-Snow 6-0, 6-0 in top singles action and teamed with Christian Domingo (Granada Hills, CA/Delphi) to defeat Carey-Snow and Claire O'Donoghue 8-0 in first singles. Domingo blanked O'Donoghue 6-0, 6-0 in second singles.
Thomas Rogalski (Middletown, CT/Middletown) improved to 2-1 in third singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Scott Sobel, and he teamed with Paolo DiPietrantonio (Cambridge, MA/Rindge & Latin) for an 8-4 win over Sobel and Jeff Silveria in second doubles.
Lesley travels to Regis on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
