BOSTON, MA -- Lesley's first-place men's tennis team improved to 9-0 on the season with a 9-0 win over Wheelock Monday night in New England Collegiate Conference men's tennis play.
The Lynx won all five singles points in consecutive sets and took both doubles points, with Lesley earning two additional points on a pair of Wheelock forefits. In his first time playing out of the fifth singles slot, senior Beau Morimando was victorious over Irene Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-3, moving to 3-0 on the season.
At 9-0 on the season and 7-0 in the NECC, Lesley looks for its first conference title and hopes to finish an undefeated regular season on Wednesday at Mitchell.
