CAMBRIDGE, MA – Lesley University improved to 8-0 in 2011 and remained a perfect 6-0 in New England Collegiate Conference play with its 9-0 win over Newbury College in men's tennis action Saturday afternoon.

     Seniors David Newton (Hamden, CT/Hamden) and Tyler Reeves (Coventry, CT/Coventry) each earned 6-0, 6-0 victories in first and sixth singles play, respectively, celebrating Senior Day in their home farewells. Sophomore Nick Mattox (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) also won 6-0, 6-0, doing so in second singles.

     Paolo DiPietrantonio (Cambridge, MA/Rindge & Latin) and Christian Domingo (Granada Hills, CA/Delphi Academy) earned 6-1, 6-0 singles wins.

     Lesley returns to play with a chance to lock up first place in the NECC at Mitchell on Wednesday, when Newbury travels to Becker College.
