CAMBRIDGE, MA – Lesley University improved to 4-0 and 3-0 in New England Collegiate Conference play with a 9-0 win over Becker College Tuesday night at the Nicholas Athletics Center.
Tyler Reeves (Coventry, CT/Coventry) improved to 4-0 in singles play in 2011, and both Alex Zhitnik (West Hartford, CT/Conard) and Christian Domingo (Granada Hills, CA/Delphi Academy) improved to 3-0 on the season, all earning victories in consecutive sets.
Freshman Thomas Rogalski (Middletown, CT/Middletown) upped his record to 2-0 to open his Lynx career with a 6-1, 6-2 sixth singles win. Two-time All-NECC selection David Newton (Hamden, CT/Hamden) earned wins in first singles and first doubles as Lesley stayed atop the NECC, winning its third match in four days.
The Lynx open a four-match road trip on Saturday at Newbury at 3:30. Becker (0-2, 0-1 GNAC) starts a seven-match homestand Thursday afternoon at 3:00 against Anna Maria.
