Rocha wins first ever POTW honors for men's tennis

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the first time in the history of the Lesley University men's tennis program, junior Zach Rocha (New Bedford, Mass.) earned Player of the Week honors from the North Atlantic Conference. 

Rocha won all three of his number one singles matches this week and two out of the three number one doubles competitions he played.  He never lost a set in any of his singles matches. 

The Lynx faced Rhode Island College as well as North Atlantic Conference opponents Johnson State College and Castleton State College. 

Rocha won his match 6-2, 6-1 over RIC, 6-3, 6-0 over Johnson State, and 6-1, 6-1 over Castleton State.  He is now 3-1 in NAC play. 

The Lynx will be in action this Thursday April 24 against Curry College starting at 3 p.m.
