HOW IT HAPPENED

  • UMPI showed life in the second half as Jovain Barrett cut the lead in half to make it 2-1 at the 55:16 marker but the Lynx responded as Wadleigh found the net for the second time in the action, heading home a cross from first-year Anthony DeNicola (Saunderstown, R.I.) to bump the lead back to 3-1.
