THE LEAD – The Lynx lost a close matchup against the Curry College Colonels, falling short by just one goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first goal of the game came in the 31st minute from Curry Senior Conor McCann, the first of his career, with an assist to JD Santiago.
- The Colonels put another on the board just ten minutes into the second half, when Santiago and Chris Kourtelidis sent a ball up to Lucas Drons, giving Curry a 2-0 lead.
- Freshman Miguel Vasconcelos fought back for the Lynx and fired one in at the 80-minute mark, off a cross pass from Marc Kenny Derac, putting Lesley within 1 goal of a tied game.
- Lesley had three more opportunities in the last ten minutes but weren't able to capitalize, losing to Curry 2-1.
