THE LEAD – Lesley falls to 1-1 on conference play after losing 7-0 to UMaine Farmington in today's NAC matchup.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Beavers of UMaine Farmington put the first goal of the game on the board eight minutes into the first half when Zach Chaisson scored off a throw in from Cade McHugh.
• Ten minutes later Chaisson sent a through ball to McHugh, resulting in another goal for the Beavers.
• The third goal of the game came from Mohamed Adow, unassisted.
• Just five minutes later Caleb Kolman sent a pass right up the middle to Adow, tacking another onto the board and giving UMF a 4-0 lead.
• The last goal of the first half came from a penalty shot by Chaisson.
• 40 seconds into the second half McHugh tacked on another after heading a cross pass from Chaisson into the back of the net.
• The last goal of the came from a pass up field to Chaisson, assisted by Adow. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• McHugh notched a pair of goals, and an assist on the match.
• Chaisson recorded three goals and two assists, a career high record.
• The Lynx defense was able to keep UMF to four shots during the second half, opposed to the eight shots during the first.
