DANBURY, Conn. – For the third consecutive season, the Lesley University men's soccer team has received a bid to the ECAC Division III New England Men's Soccer Championship. The Lynx, who enter the tournament at 10-6-4, have been seeded eighth and will travel to top-seeded Norwich University on Wednesday at 7:00p. This is the fifth time that Lesley has received an invitation to the ECAC Championship.
In other matches on Wednesday, No. 7 seed Elms College (9-8) will travel to take on second seed, Endicott (9-7). No. 3 Bridgewater State University (10-8) will play host to Curry College (10-9) and Colby Sawyer College (11-6) will take on Albertus Magnus College (11-6) in the No. 4/No. 5 matchup in New London, New Hampshire.
The first-round winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, November 15th, hosted by the highest remaining seed. The winner of Norwich University/Lesley University will face the winner of Colby Sawyer/Albertus Magnus College in one semifinal and the winner of Endicott College/Elms College and the winner of Bridgewater State/Curry College in the other semifinal. The semifinal winners will meet Sunday, November 16 for the championship at the same site.
