CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University sophomore Erik Johansen (West Harrison, N.Y.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations, Roger Crossley, made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.

Johansen helped the Lynx to a 2-1-0 week, scoring goals in wins over Regis College and Rivier University this past weekend. The forward currently leads Lesley in goals (4) and points (8).

Johansen recorded tallies in each of Lesley's wins on the week. The 2013 NECC Rookie of the Year scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Regis College while scoring the game-tying goal in a 2-1 double overtime win over Rivier University in nonconference action.
