CAMBRIDGE, MA -- After a his first career goal served as the game-winner at Southern Vermont, Lesley freshman Ryan Richardson was rewarded with NECC Rookie of the Week honors.

Richardson assisted on Jimmy Paulsen's game-tying goal in the 57th minute and scored his first career goal in depositing the game-winner in the 64th minute of Lesley's 2-1 win over the Mountaineers in both teams' NECC opener Saturday afternoon.

Richardson and the Lynx (4-2-2, 1-0-0 NECC) return to the pitch tonight at 8:00 p.m. against NECC rival Regis College.
