CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Lesley's Herbin Berreondo was named New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week after tallying a goal and an assist in the Lynx 12-1 win at Wheelock on Saturday.

The freshman assisted on the Lynx seventh goal on a feed to teammate Alex Fisher and then scored the team's eight goal and the first of his career at the 36:28 mark of the first half.

At 8-3-1 and 2-1 in NECC play, Berreondo and the Lynx return to action on Wednesday at home at 8:00 p.m. against Becker College.
