NASHUA, NH -- Lesley lost its New England Collegiate Conference opener on an own-goal in the 82nd minute Saturday afternoon at Daniel Webster College.

A mishandled throw cost the Lynx after over 80 minutes of scoreless soccer Saturday, dropping Lesley, losers for only the second time in nine contests on the season in falling to 6-2-1 and 0-1 in NECC play.

Courtesy of the Lynx mishap, the Eagles improve to 4-2 overall with a 1-0 start to league play.
