Sozeri, Reeves lead Lesley in 5-0 rout of Raiders

NASHUA, NH --Lesley sailed past the Raiders Tuesday night, cruising to a 5-0 win over Rivier in non-conference men's soccer play.

"We played really, really well," said fifth-year head coach Paul Vasconcelos. "Probably the best 45 minutes we've had all year was that first half."

Senior Tyler Reeves, who entered the night tied for second in the New England Collegiate Conference with 10 points, scored two goals, while freshman Ali Sozeri, who entered tied with Reeves, added two goals of his own as the Lynx improved to 9-1-0.

Junior defender Christian Domingo got the Lynx going with a tally of his own, his second of the season just 2:39 in, as Lesley went on to a 5-0 halftime lead, upping its record to 3-1-1 on the road.

Vasconcelos' Lynx (1-0-0 NECC) are now a perfect 4-0-0 against Great Northeast Athletic Conference clubs in 2010.

Lesley continues its three-game road swing in Chicopee, MA on Saturday, returning to NECC play at Elms at 1 p.m.
