Lynx season over after quarterfinal loss, 2-0

BANGOR, Me. - In their North Atlantic Conference Quarterfinal match up with Husson College, Lesley saw their season end with a 2-0 loss.

Husson took an early lead at 12:43 as Nattapong Kongsuriya scored unassisted.  With just under 20 minutes left in the first half, Mark Trombley set up Nathan Carter on a corner kick to give the Eagles a 2-0 halftime lead.

Miguel Dominguez and Bradley Ala combined to shutout the Lynx, who managed only two shots on goal for the game.  Lesley keeper Zachary Almeida-Beers (Rehoboth, Mass.) made four saves on 16 shots from Husson.

After the playoff loss, Lesley finished their season with a record of 7-10-1 (3-6 NAC).  The Lynx will lose senior Mark Montgomery (Leeds, ENGLAND) next year, but the team will look forward to having most of their starters return in 2008.
