THE LEAD – Lesley University dropped 20 strokes from its previous match and finished fourth overall at the EC Invite hosted by Emmanuel College at the Robert T. Lynch Municipal Golf Course in Brookline, Mass.

LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS

• First year Jeremy Ouellette (Old Saybrook, Conn.) carded a team-best 82, good for a share of 12th place while sophomore Scott Scherrer (Skaneateles, N.Y.) was one stroke behind with an 83, a new collegiate low.
• Seniors Patrick Teasdale (Stamford, Conn.) and Christian McElroy (Toms River, N.J.) both came into the clubhouse with matching 90's while first year Hunter Treanor (Bulverde, Tex.) rounded out the group with a 101.

WINNING PERFORMANCE

• Rhode Island College junior Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) and New England College junior Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.) earned co-medalist honors with 72's on each card.
• It was Hassan's Pilgrims who bested the team field with a score of 301, eight strokes better than host Emmanuel College who finished second with a 309.

• Lesley is idle until next Wednesday, September 25 when they head to Westfield, Mass. for the Brett Williamson Invitational at Tekoa Country Club.
