
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Lesley University Esports team has named the following student-athletes Players of the Week: Akarawin Khwanthongyim (Mueang Nonthaburi, Thailand ), Deshawn Canady (Medford, Mass.), Jeremy "JB" Ouellette (Old Saybrook, Conn), Kevin Nguyen (Spring, Texas), and Donovan Williams (Herndon, Va.). Their standout performances not only secured wins for the week but also highlighted the diverse skill sets required across different competitive gaming titles.
Khwanthongyim delivered impressive wins with strong performances in both matches, helping secure decisive victories. In his two matches against Boston University and Radford University, he went 2-0 with 46 eliminations and 36 deaths against BU and had 46 eliminations and 17 deaths versus Radford.
Nguyen showcased consistency and key contributions that played a crucial role in the team's success. In his two wins against Boston University and Radford University, Nguyen had 42 eliminations and 34 deaths against BU and versus Radford, he finished with 29 eliminations and 16 deaths.
Ouellette's all-around performance was pivotal in maintaining both offensive pressure and defensive stability. His contributions helped secure a clean sweep victory, underscoring his value as a versatile and reliable player in Rocket League.
