ATTLEBORO, Mass. – In a season where they set the program single-season wins record, Lesley University has earned admittance into the New England Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament as the four-seed. The Lynx, who have qualified for the Tournament for the third straight season, will open up on Friday at 11:00a against top-seed and host Mitchell College.
The Lynx finished the season with a 19-17 overall record, including a 10-8 mark in NECC play, and won the regular season series with the Mariners 2-1.
Mitchell earned the number one seed as they finished the season with a 13-5 conference record and seeks their third straight conference title.
Elms College posted a 12-6 conference record and will play as the two seed and square off with Southern Vermont College, who earned the third seed with a 10-8 conference mark. The Mountaineers earned the tiebreaker with the Lynx, winning the season series 2-1.
