DANBURY, Conn. – One day after being named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, Lesley University freshman Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has received his second award of the week as he was named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference Baseball Rookie of the Week today.

Pumphret was hot at the dish and registered a .750 (12-for-16) average while knocking in seven runs in five games last week. The rookie has crushed NECC pitching and ranks third in average (.421), second in RBI (11), and fourth in hits (16) in 11 conference appearances.
