Lynx sophomore pitcher Ray Cohen (Coventry, Conn.) has been named NECC Pitcher of the Week this week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Athletic Communications, Robb Modica, made the announcement this morning. Cohen led the Lynx to their first victory of the season over Colby-Sawyer College on Sunday in the Russmatt Invitational in Winter Haven, Florida.

Cohen took the ball for the first time this season and went the distance allowing just three hits in a 4-1 win over Colby-Sawyer College. Cohen struck out six in the complete-game effort and allowed only a bunt single in the first six innings while picking up the Lynx' first win of the
season.
