CAMBRIDGE, MA -- A total of 24 Lesley men's and women's fall student-athletes have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference Academic All-Conference Team, the league announced.

Students from four of Lesley's 2010 fall sports teams combined to consititute almost 15 percent of the league's 146 top student-athletes. All nine of the NECC's nine full-time institutions and two associate members were represented.

Nine student-athletes from Lesley's NECC regular season champion women's soccer team qualified for NECC Academic All-Conference honors, the most students from any team in the league. The Lynx league champion women's cross country team tied for the most in their sport, with eight representatives, and Lesley's championship volleyball team tied for the most among volleyball teams, with four.
