GAME OVERVIEW:

Cambridge, Mass.-- Visiting team Fisher College swept the Lesley women's volleyball team 3-0 Thursday evening at Medford High School for the two team's third meeting of the 2018 campaign.  With the win, the Falcons completed the season sweep over the Lynx.  The loss drops Lesley to 5-18 overall this season.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

  • All three sets formulated the same consistent result, with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-16 all in favor of the Falcons.
  • Yeryvel Catala led all players with 11 kills and 5 service aces in the match for the visiting squad.  Lia Aime led all players with 13 digs on defense, while Catala was close behind with 12.
  • Maile Counts led the offense for Lesley with 8 kills and 2 service aces, while chipping in 7 digs.
  • Ashley Keeney and Cassidy Wygonik each had 10 digs in the loss, while Tallin Goldberg added a team best 12 assists.
  • The Falcons dominated scoreboard with a .191 kill percentage, compared to Lesley's .012, which proved to be the different maker in the match.
