Miller Leads Women's Track With Second Place Finish at MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University senior Leah Miller (Thomaston, Conn.) placed second in the 5000-meter run to pace the Lynx at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by Cambridge neighbor, MIT. Miller crossed the line at 18:33.37, trailing only Tufts' Abby Barker in a field of Division I, II, and III runners. 

Senior classmate Kat Vicino (Mattapoisett, Mass.) posted a top-15 finish in the 400-meter with a time of 1:04.93 while she also ran in the 200-meter, crossing the line in 28.36. 

Senior Jacqueline Rosa (Wolcott, Conn.) finished in the top-30 in the 1500-meter, running to a time of 5:30.85.

Junior Arianna Thomas (Shrewsbury, Vt.) rounded out the Lynx' effort in the 800-meter, crossing the line at 2:51.36.

On the men's side, sophomore Nick Green (Stoughton, Mass.) finished seventh in the 5000-meter with a time of 15:34.31. 

Senior Max Bulger (Falmouth, Me.) cruised to a top-20 finish in the 1500-meter, crossing at 4:20.00.

Sophomore Tyree Williams (Boston, Mass.) competed in both the 100-meter and 200-meter, posting times of 11.80 and 23.65, respectively. 

Lesley will return to the track on Sunday, April 27th when they travel to Regis College for the annual Pride Invitational.
