After falling behind 1-0 in the opening half, the Lesley offense , led by a pair of goals from sophomore Jordan Mitchell (Sachse, Texas), scored three times in the second to secure the comeback and punch their ticket to the finals.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s soccer team netted two goals in each half and earned a 4-0 shutout victory over Suffolk University in a non-conference bout this evening at Edward Field. The Lynx snap a two-game losing skid and jump to 5-3-2 overall while improving to a perfect 5-0-0 mark over the Rams since 2012. Suffolk slips to an even 4-4-0 with the loss.

    CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s soccer team saw their 61 match regular season conference unbeaten streak come to an end today as Elms College used a first half goal to top the Lynx 1-0 at Timothy J. Leary Field. Lesley’s streak stretched all the way back to October 25, 2008 where they fell to Elms, also by a 1-0 score. The two sides are no strangers in rivalry as the Lynx have defeated the Blazers in each of the last three New England Collegiate Conference Championship matches.

The tie shifts the Lynx to 3-1-2 on the season while the Jumbos move to 2-0-1 overall.

    WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s soccer team scored one goal in each half and blanked host Wellesley College 2-0 Sunday afternoon at the Wellesley Invitational. Senior Cassidy Hopkins (Porter, Texas) iced the game for the Lynx with an insurance tally in the 77th minute to help lift the Lynx to 3-1-1 on the season. The setback for the Blue was their blemish of the season as they drop to 3-1-0 overall.
