Christine Carr begins her third season as the pitching coach for the Lynx.
A graduate from Harvard, Carr dominated the mound earning All-Ivy accolades in during her time there. Prior to her college career, Carr pitched for the top ranked Massachusetts team, the Woburn Tanners, and competed in National ASA tournaments. Coach Carr also earned All-Scholastic honors from the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald during her high school career.
Coach Carr has extensive coaching experience having coached the Suffolk University Softball team from 1995-1999, winning the GNAC Championship in 1996. "We are very fortunate to have a pitching coach that is as experienced and dedicated to the game of softball as Christine is," Head Coach Benway comments. "She has a passion for pitching and is a true teacher of the game. It is amazing to see the girls respond to her techniques. They can reflect and adjust immediately on the mound."
The pitchers are excited to work with Christine and have made a
commitment to improving their skills both in and out of season.
