Bouchard, Krikorian Lead Lynx on the Trails

Cambridge, Mass- The Lesley University Mens and Women's cross country teams competed in the Worcester City Cross Country Meet  at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA.  The Lesley women continue to have strong showing placing fourth overall. 

On the women's side, senior Amy Bouchard paced the Lynx finishing in 13th place with a time of 21:49 in the women's 5k run.

Junior Jordan Penney was not far behind crossing the finish line 22:48, good for 27th place. Junior Alex Dimauro, Freshman Nicole Footer, and Senior Julia Fagundes rounded out the top 5 runners for Lesley. 

Worcester State had 5 runniners finish in the top 10 on the womens side, securing their first ever team victory at the Worcester City event.

Sophomore runner for the men's side, Max Krikorian received the best time for the Lynx in the 5 mile run with a time of 41:25, good for finishing in the top 45 runners.  WPI runners claimed 8 out of the top 10 finishers, giving them the team victory on the day.
