GAME OVERVIEW:
Kissimmee, FL. – Lesley University baseball were held scoreless against Washington University (Mo.), 5-0, on Wednesday afternoon in Kissimmee, Florida. The Lynx drop to 1-3 overall, while the Bears improve to 6-2-1 on the season.
LESLEY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Javi Martinez (Chelsea, MA.), Nicholas Ferragine (Randolph, N.J.), Will Rhone (North Haven, CT.) and Vincent Taliercio (Valley Stream, N.Y.) all picked up a base knock against the Bears.
- Starter Jonathan Truscott (Dudley, MA.) went five innings allowing three runs and striking out two batters claimed the loss. Daniel O'Donnel (Clark, N.J.) pitched four innings in relief with two strikeouts.
- Lynx turned two double plays on the game, for defensive highlights. Jacob Cervantes (Ventura, CA.) caught one runner trying to steal second from behind the plate.
