Services

The Sports Medicine Department serves the primary athletic health care needs of the nearly 160 men's and women's intercollegiate student-athletes of Lesley University. Our athletic training facility is located on the basement level of Doble Hall on the Doble Campus. The Sports Medicine Department is part of the Lesley Athletic Department and works in conjunction with our Team Physicians at Cambridge Health Alliance Sports Medicine.

Mission

In accordance with the goals and values of Lesley University and the Department of Athletics, the athletic trainer will provide comprehensive sports medicine care to all varsity athletes at the university.  This service is critical to assist student-athletes in safely reaching athletic and personal goals through each sport.  The sports medicine program will also serve as a source of information to athletes, coaches and families in many aspects of the overall health and wellness of student-athletes.

The athletic trainer will treat each athlete on an individual basis with emphasis on injury prevention and safe return to participation.  Individuals are guaranteed fair and equal treatment without regard to factors such as, but not limited to, race, gender, sexuality, religion or ability.  It is the goal of the athletic trainer to facilitate immediate and long-term wellness of Lesley University athletes.
