CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the first time in his career, Lesley University men's basketball senior forward Malachi Howard (Winter Haven, Fla.) was named to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Conference Second Team. Meanwhile, teammate Jaxon Miles (Arlington, Texas) earned a spot on the NAC Sportsmanship Team, and Alawnah Dunda (Fort Ann, N.Y.) was placed on the All-Sportsmanship Team for women's basketball.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Lesley University placed 40 student-athletes on the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Fall All-Academic Team announced by the conference on Friday. To be eligible for the NAC Fall NAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be participating members of their respective teams and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Lesley University Athletics Department inducted its first-ever Hall of Fame Class that featured seven honorees. In the 2024 class, there are four former student-athletes (Francis 'Fran' Cusick'09- Men's Cross Country, Jodi [Fralick] Kenton'09- Women's Soccer, Basketball, and Softball, John Sanchez'12- Men's Basketball, and Molly Sarson'13 (posthumous)- Softball), one administrator (Stan Vieira-athletic director), one coach (Jen [Benway] Viana- Softball/Athletic Director), and one team (2011 softball team).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University Director of Athletics Dan Campagna has announced the appointment of James Wouralis as Lynx Sports Information Director (SID) effective October 9, 2024. In this role, Wouralis will become the department’s main contact for all 15 varsity athletic programs and manage the athletics web and social media presence while leading the in-game statistics coverage.
